Demonstration of minisuperspace quantum cosmology using quantum computational algorithms on IBM quantum computer

Quantum computers promise to efficiently solve important problems that are intractable on a conventional computer. computational algorithms have the potential be an exciting new way of studying quantum cosmology. In cosmology, we learn about dynamics universe without constructing complete theory gravity. Since universal wavefunction exists in infinite-dimensional superspace over all possible 3D metrics and modes matter configurations, take minisuperspaces for our work by constraining degrees freedom particular uniform scalar field configurations. Here, consider wide variety cosmological models. We begin analyzing anisotropic with constant classical radiation. then study results higher derivatives, Kaluza–Klein theories string dilaton use IBM’s Information Science Kit (QISKit) python library Variational Eigensolver (VQE) algorithm these systems. The VQE is hybrid uses variational approach interleaves computations order find minimum eigenvalue Hamiltonian given system. obtained will serve as boundary condition wavefuntion.
